Troubleshooting

Thermostat is unresponsive

Check your HVAC circuit breaker. If power is confirmed, remove the Sera unit from its base for 10 seconds, then reattach. Still unresponsive? Schedule a call.

Wi-Fi connection lost

Open the Sera app → Settings → Wi-Fi and re-enter your credentials. Sera supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Restart your router if needed.

Incorrect temperature reading

Ensure the thermostat is out of direct sunlight and away from vents. Adjust calibration under Settings → Sensor Offset in the app.

Heating or cooling won't start

Confirm your HVAC system is powered and the filter is clean. Run a system test under Settings → Diagnostics in the Sera app.

App won't connect to the thermostat

Enable Bluetooth during initial setup. Ongoing: both your phone and Sera must share the same Wi-Fi network. Re-link via App Settings → Devices.
